Helping Leaders to Think With an Enterprise-Wide Perspective

Doug Ready, through the Global Leadership Collaborative (GLC) helps the top teams of major global companies develop its next generation of Enterprise Leaders. His focus is on helping highly successful unit and functional leaders make the transition to senior executives who must continue to run their businesses and functions but also think and act on behalf of the entire enterprise. Doug’s approach is to help organizations develop the internal capability to build its leaders, and as such, he has a strong specialty in leader-led development.

Key Principles to Developing Enterprise-Wide Leaders:

· Securing top team alignment, commitment, and engagement

· Linking leadership development to strategic priorities

· Partnering closely with a company’s internal Human Resource professionals

· Combining program excellence with process excellence

· Securing the momentum to make leadership development a sustained commitment within a company

When I talk with CEOs and senior executives about strengthening their organizations’ competitiveness, on virtually everyone’s list is having a much stronger cadre of globally minded leaders. But most companies are still poor at actually cultivating internationally minded managers.”
